| Documents Required to Apply for A Temporary Resident (Visitor) Visa |

| Your relative when applying for their temporary resident visa at the Immigration Section of the Canadian Embassy / High Commission should provide as much information as possible in order to facilitate and succeed in their applications. They should include all your documentation, which should be notarized. Please call and make an appointment to come to our office and we can notarize your documentation for you. |

Copies of your record of landing or Canadian citizenship, your spouse's record of landing or citizenship |

Copies of your record of employment t4 slips for both you and your spouse, original letters from your employer stating the length of service as well the amount of annual income. |

If you own a house copy of your interim property tax bill |

If there is a compelling reason for the visitor visa application please provide proof, copies of documents:
- if wedding, provide invitation card, marriage license, copy of the banquet contract,
copy from the church / temple etc. of when the wedding will take place.
- a pregnancy letter from the doctor that you or your spouse is pregnant and require the parents to assist with the household duties.
- death in the family, please provide death certificate, funeral home arrangements etc.
- sickness in the family, letter from the doctor stating the reasons, letter from the hospital etc.

If you are paying for the tickets provide proof (letter) from the travel agency travel itinerary, etc. |

Letter from your bank that shows that you are capable of maintaining relative while visiting you in Canada |

If they have traveled before give detail account of their travel history. This will demonstrate to the immigration officer that your relative does not want to stay in Canada. |

If they own a business they should provide complete business records: - original letter from the bank showing balance, copies of their income tax, copies of their financial statement, letter from the loca chamber of commerce, if their own the building that the business is in property deed, if they rent the premises copy of the lease, and any other documentation from the business that will assist. |

If they are working letter from their employer outlining their pay their duties and responsibilities, the length of time that they are working there as well as salary details and amount time granted away for this trip. |

If they are paying for the ticket they should have a travel itinerary from a travel agent. |
